TRANSLUCID
Dave Pemberton, ex member of chill out band Kinobe presents his latest single, Translucid on Numen records. Inspired by watching the sunset on Venice beach and the movie Dogtown and the Z-Boys, surfing under the Santa Monica Pier. An inspiring chord progression uplifts you into that Translucid state where you are at one with ocean waves. Time seems to slow down on the bridge, with the soft waves of music washing over you. A haunting guitar line, reminiscent of seagulls soaring over the ocean waves, takes you through the 2nd half of the song, before the sudden ending as you crash underwater into silence.
