El Sosiego translates to the Calm. A Haunting, almost sad, string line starts the song off, with a heartbeat kick drum pulsing underneath, the calm before the storm. As the track builds and the storm bursts, there is a crazy, almost psychotic synth line playing the melody, adding to the disturbia. As we hit the middle breakdown, the sad strings are a backdrop, and a hypnotic voice fades in, “Its brainwashing you”. Perfect for playlists in places such as Cafe Del Mar, or an Amsterdam coffee shop, after club music. Dave Pemberton is the producer and ex member of the band Kinobe, as well as being a grammy nominated mixing engineer for the song “Superstylin” by Groove Armada.
