FRANK JOSHUA – ALMOST

Frank Joshua releases his new single Almost on 4 September, his 51st release and a further excursion into the increasingly difficult-to-pin-down world he has been quietly building over the past few years.

Produced with long-time collaborator Tony White, Almost combines an insistent electronic pulse with the melancholy and emotional ambiguity that have become hallmarks of Frank Joshua’s music. There are echoes of the expansive electronic worlds of Underworld, Röyksopp and M83, but at its centre remains something much more intimate: a song about the things that came close enough to feel real but somehow remained just out of reach.
