ONE LOVE AFRICA – MICHAEL ARKK

One Love Africa is a song of Hope and Faith Joy and Promise. Growing up in the Caribbean you have no reason to be concerned about who you are or if you have any connection to Africa. The pitiful images you see of Africa on Television is emotive but you are grateful that although you might resemble the people there you don’t live in Africa and you don’t share their condition of Poverty, Sickness and Hunger.

Discovering as you grow up that you are very connected to the land and peoples of Africa , you begin to see Africa through a different lens and feel the desire to connect with it and to know more about the Continent and its people. The poverty and hopelessness you see on television is not the condition of the entire continent of Africa. 

As one grows and learns more about the continent ,the song “One Love Africa” becomes a wish,  a prayer,  a song of hope and an inspiration for the people of the whole earth.

Because Africa is the place where the Human Family began.
